Inside The Museum
Bronx Children’s Museum has more than 10,000 sq ft. of active exhibit space where families can play, learn, and connect with the wider Bronx and its natural and cultural resources through STEAM-based art, dramatic role-play, and scientific exploration.

Sonia's Corner
Named after US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor and Bronx actor and author Sonia Manzano, this room is a space for caregivers to come and relax and find a wealth of information about extracurricular activities, caregiver support services, and enrichment opportunities. Come in for a calm moment to read one of our books or check out our rotating exhibit, currently highlighting the life of Sonia Manzano.

The Enchanted Garden
Put on a pair of costume insect wings, or look up at the crystal raindrops that create magic on the floor when the light hits them. The walls are outfitted with an enlarged photo taken by one of our artists in the Little Friends of the Museum arts after school program at Roberto Clemente State Park. Join us for storytime, complete with puppet friends.

The Block
Explore the Boogie Down Bronx in this miniature replica of a local neighborhood. You can harvest fruits and vegetables in the community garden, admire the trinkets in the casita, which pays homage to the Casitas in the South Bronx. Stroll along the store facades and peek inside our bodega, restaurant, vet clinic, and radio station.

The Nest
This designated play space is perfect for little ones, birth to 3 years old and their caregivers. Here, infants and toddlers are challenged to develop their gross motor skills through crawling and balancing. The Nest is also outfitted with manipulatives for fine motor development and a light table which illuminates toys placed on top.

ABC Collection
An initiative which highlights the incredible talent that comes from our borough. The Arts Builds Community (ABC) collection consists of work from artists with local roots to The Bronx. Featuring sculptures both large and small scale, casts, murals, photos and more. This collection of work is all inspired by our greatest visionaries: our students. Works are by Saya Woolfalk, Andre Trenier, Charles George Esperanza, Duane Bailey-Castro, Edwin Torres, John Ahearn, Rachel Sydlowski, Jerome LaMaar, and Maria Estevez.
