OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Our enriching programs, spearheaded by Bronx-based educators, artists, and environmentalists, focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), environmental studies, and artistic expression.
Our innovative programs thrived in diverse settings, including our iconic purple bus, delivering interactive experiences that showcased Bronx waterways. These initiatives were tailored to specific neighborhoods, encouraging children to discover the natural resources within their surroundings. Complementing this, our arts programs, whether in after school or in-school environments, delved into Bronx nature, embraced healthy living, and celebrated the borough’s diverse culturals.
Looking ahead to 2026, our vision includes acquiring a new electric bus and expanding our school and festival reach to sustain outreach programs, ensuring fair access for all children, complementing our on-site initiatives.

Field Trips
Thanks for considering the Bronx Children’s Museum for your school group! We would love to welcome you in our space. Linked below are our guidelines for booking field trips.
Please note, a trip is not considered booked until these steps are completed. All school groups (Public, private, charter, daycares, child care centers and summer camps) are required to follow this protocol in order to have their students at our museum. Without these crucial steps and completed paperwork, a school group will not be permitted to enter the museum. School groups cannot purchase general admission tickets for their visit.
